Step 1: record it

  • iPhone: open the Voice Memos app, tap the red button and record. Then tap ⋯ → Save to Files so FoneVibe can open it.
  • Android: use your Recorder or Voice Recorder app. Recordings are saved to your phone, usually in a Recordings or Sounds folder.
  • Record in a quiet room, close to the phone, and leave a short pause before and after.

Step 2: trim and polish

  1. Tap Choose audio above and pick your recording.
  2. Drag the handles to cut the silence at the start and end. Use the ±0.1 s buttons for precise cuts.
  3. Turn on Even volume and Louder: voice recordings are usually much quieter than music.
  4. Press play to check it, then download for iPhone or Android.

Questions

Can I record directly on FoneVibe?

Not yet. Use your phone's recorder app, then open the file here. Recording apps give better quality and keep a copy for you.

My recording is very quiet. What can I do?

Turn on Even volume and Louder. They raise the level as much as possible without harsh distortion. Recording closer to the phone helps most.

Is my recording uploaded?

No. Your recording is processed on your device and never leaves it.
