Why MP3?
Every Android phone can use MP3 ringtones, from budget phones to flagships. MP3 files are small, so they also take up very little space. FoneVibe makes them at 192 kbps, which sounds clean through a phone speaker.

How long should an Android ringtone be?
Android doesn't have a strict limit, and the ringtone loops while the phone rings. FoneVibe allows up to 60 seconds. Around 20 to 30 seconds is plenty, because most calls go to voicemail within that time. With Fade out on, the loop back to the start sounds smooth.
